Post Christmas Haul!!

I will post a Christmas Haul soon but for now I have a December 27th shopping haul! On the 26th,I was at my grandma's house where they got 4 inches of snow at least. So the shopping had to wait! First up, the collective picture. We went to Target, Bath and Body Works, and Sally's.

Now for the individual stuff. At Target, I got a lemming!!

ESSIE LICORICE!!!!! I have needed a black polish to use as a base! Especially with BL The Black Knight!! At Bath and Body Works, I picked up 3 items.

This Twisted Peppermint ScentPortable refill was only 2 dollars! Why not right?

This Warm Vanilla Sugar Fine Fragrance Mist was only 5 dollars since the packaging of WVS was redesigned. I hadn't replaced my mist yet, so I went ahead and picked this up :)

This Penguin Snow Globe Mirror was something I hadn't bought and just had to get! I believe it was 50% off but I don't remember the exact price. At Sally's I picked up 2 different items that caught my eye.

After much internal debate, I decided to get this glitter top coat from Seche. It has silver bar glitter, along with a few different sizes of silver hex glitter.

The last thing that I got was this extremely small China Glaze polish. It is smaller than the mini size. It is in the color Ruby Pumps and it is a gorgeous red. That is the damage beauty wise! I might get more things soon, we shall see! Christmas Haul coming soon!

I can't give out any details yet, but the most epic thing to happen to this blog is in the works!!! This should be the point where I do some awesome name dropping, but I can't. Or I should give a date of when this is going to happen, but I won't really. 2013 is all that can be revealed! I'm reallyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy excited about this! Soooooooooooo, STAY TUNED!!

That Didn't Work Out So Well!

Hi Guys! I'm writing to let you all know that I pretty much dropped the nail art challenge. I just lost interest in doing horrible looking manis LOL. I've been even more tired than usual since I've been staying up later at night. I'm planning on posting my polish hauls from here on out, along with some others. I might post a mani on occasion, but I'm not an artsy person. I usually just paint my nails a solid color. I may use glitter as a top coat, but that is the most artsy I am. Jennifer

Day 7- SMYTC

Before I get down to business, I cried as I watched parents let their children be interviewed by reporters. They have had enough trauma. My heart goes out to the people in CT. Time for Day 7. Snowmen, which are difficult to paint.

Show Me Your Topcoats Day 6

My mani is about the elements of a Christmas tree. My thumb is a glittery ball ornament(CC Gingerbread and black nail art pen/striper duo), my pointer finger is silver garland (All That Glitters Space Rock), my middle finger is an icicle ornament (white nail art pen/striper duo), my ring finger is gold garland (Julep Sienna), and my pinkie is and candy cane (my snowman base polish and white nail art pen/striper duo)

Excuse my non existent clean up job! Taking this off in 2 minutes LOL Check out the other manis!

Day 4! I was at a loss for what to do. I decided that a jingle bell would work best.

I used my thumb nail as my accent nail. I used Julep Oscar and Julep Ursula to make the bell. Kelara Laquers Mars was my base polish. So this turned out halfway decent. Check out everyone else's manis!

Liebster Award!

So I was nominated by 3 different blogs for this, Janet Planet Nails, Polish Insomnia and Polish Gone Crazy. First, 33 facts that are all over the place:

1. I'm almost done with my first semester of my freshman year of college! 
2. That means my death is pending (finals)
3. I collect pins!
4. I love penguins with all my heart.
5. I've "petted" (they call it touching) a penguin.
6. I love peace signs and tie dye.
7. I like drinking beverages out of mugs. 
8. I love country music.
9. I own mostly white shirts, and don't usually wear any of them since they are practically see through.
10. Flannel PJ pants are my favorite thing about winter.
11. I record 3 shows every single weekday, Katie, Ellen and The People's Court.
12. I own over 100 pocketbacs. Seriously.
13. I hate this number, but am a Taylor Swift fan.
14. I'm NOT a germaphobe I promise.
15. I used to be obsessed  with Webkinz.
16. I'm really tired, have to wake up at 8 AM, and I'm not in my PJs yet.
17. I only wear skinny jeans and jeggings in the fall/winter months. 
18. Yoga pants are a backup plan.
19. I only wear Bermuda shorts. I hate my thighs that much.
20. I'm sighing with relief that I'm almost done with this list.
21. I have 2 cats. One is sitting here now :)

Time for my first nail art challenge. Show Me Your Top Coats is an awesome group of ladies that are basically my only blog followers :D

Here is my day one mani! I hate the color green, so my mani is just red.

I used Butter London Come to Bed Red, and OPI Gettin Miss Piggy With It. I then put 2 coats of H K Girl Top Coat on top. I hate nail pictures of mine, I'm not good at them LOL

A Better Intro To My Life

So I never really introduced myself properly to you guys! So I'm Jennifer (as my readers know) and I am an 18 year old college freshman majoring in Journalism. My main beauty interests are nail polish and Bath and Body Works products. I'm also interested in home fragrance in the form of candles and wax tarts/melts. I usually get  the Julep Maven box, and I will blog about nail mail, home fragrance mail, beauty mail, my Maven box and various hauls. I might blog about my manis and pedis.
